Webb26 feb. 2024 · As others have mentioned the shared mailbox can't be logged into directly (from the office portal) it requires mail delegation to be accessible. Where as the Exchange Online plan box can be logged into via the office portal etc. Shared mailbox can still be accessible via outlook.office.com. it just does not show outlook app via the office portal. WebbFirst, a shared mailbox doesn’t require license. So it won’t have a user name or password to sign in Office 365 portal. Users need to access it with certain permissions. You cannot configure a shared mailbox separately in Outlook. For the second question, you are able to create shared mailboxes in the plan.
