My reasoning is that your ears and particular guitar will give you different results then another person's ears and particular guitar. You will only find the answer by trying them for yourself.

I don't have my headphones with me right now, but my general impression is that the Resomax sounds a bit warmer and the tone a bit "truer". It sounds like the Gotoh is adding some kind of high frequency, resonating overtones. I'll have to give a better listen with some phones though. This would cost around 9000+ yen (90+ USD) as opposed to the 120 usd that the schaller install would cost.
