WebJan 1, 2024 · The FM9 3 Gun 9mm Complete Upper features a 16” 9mm barrel with a 1:10” rifling twist rate housed in a 15” M-LOK handguard. This twist rate stabilizes a wide variety of 9mm bullet weights. Foxtrot uses a proprietary locking system to ensure the monolithic upper receiver and handguard remain firmly attached at all times. WebI have my cmmg bolt and barrel in a slick side Ar15 upper. Lots of people have done it and the FM lower is the preffered lower for the cmmg combo. Theres lots of threads detailing the process. You will need to remove the fixed extractor in the Fm9 lower which is held in place by 2 screws. The other change is magazine height.

Mine has a 5.5” barrel but I had to change the handguard to accommodate my suppressor. Got a 7.5” handguard with enough clearance so the can sits 2” inside and looks great. If that is correct, the flash can will just act as an extra blast baffle which will make your suppressor more effective.
