Culture, a socially transmitted system of shared knowledge, beliefs and/or practices that varies across groups, and individuals within those groups, has been a critical mode of adaptation throughout the history of our species [ 1 ]. WebPsychosocial aspects of care influence patient outcomes, compliance, and decision making. Patients experience illness within the context of their cultural and spiritual experience and do so surrounded by a network of family and caregivers.
